Volunteerism is a vital part of our organization.

Trained and supervised breast cancer survivors offer valuable insight and empathy to newly diagnosed patients on a regular basis in the Lean On Me one on one Peer Support Program. Other opportunities for dynamic men and women exist in resource coordination, administrative assistance, event planning, and fund-raising.

Lean On Me Breast Cancer Network Inc. relies on a variety of ways to fund its ongoing programs and services.

Grant awards from private foundations, organized events like our 5K Walk & Talk, direct mail campaigns, and the generosity of individuals like you help continue our work with breast cancer patients and their families.  Our special gift program allows patients, colleagues and friends to honor someone's accomplishment, celebrate a special occasion like a wedding or remember someone who has passed away.  Individuals can proudly represent their support of LOM with the purchase of our customized pin or magnet, each for $5 and shown on the homepage.  In addition, donations of raffle prizes often make our events even more spectacular for those in attendance.  Remember, your donation is tax deductible.
